Born in Kurunegala and ordained in 2006, Venerable Dhammadassi passed the Prācīna Paṇḍita General Degree Examination conducted by the Oriental Studies Society of Sri Lanka in 2014. As a resident monk, he teaches Sinhala in the Dhamma School.
